I've spent a large portion of my short life trying to find the common bond between people. The smiliarites that showed we were all basically good people with like hopes and dreams and that our only differences were our view on how to obtain those dreams. To try and find the reasons why some find the glass half full and others find it half empty..and to try and point out that they're both right. One just might be more content with their viewpoint and not do anything about it and the other desires...
This is just a shout out to all my blogging personalities that feel compelled to leave obnoxious replies everywhere I go. I'd like to thank anger, indignation (God bless you), fury..I couldn't keep up without you, moral obligation..you always push me so hard to try to be fair, and most importantly, my Mom! She is the nicest pyscho I've ever known.
In all of these discussions about international policy, the world hating us, nuclear weapons, etc.,. when did we change the objective?
We're not here to rule the world, but we are out to feel at ease and have the upperhand. It sounds like Americans were brainwashed into thinking we're here to be warm and fuzzy when dealing with other nations. Attention; Common Sense Alert! It's alot like poker, people. You lie, and cheat, and do what is necessary to win each hand. It isn't a matter of morals. T...
With all the problems in the world ranging from Tsunami's and Social Security Theft, I decided to take a minute out of life and pose a question..
Wi Fi access, safe and secure or ambigiously stupid to implement on a city-wide scale?
"Philadelphia sets timeline for city Wi-Fi" The article is here. Link
The nation's largest municipal Wi-Fi cloud will blanket Philadelphia by the summer of 2006 -- with Internet access free in public parks and steeply discounted for low-income residents.[/qu...
Alot of issues about religion, church & state seperation, bibles, muslims, yada yda. All in all, nothing really new, I'd imagine.
If you've read enough of my comments and my few rambling articles, you might be able to tell that I have some sort of religious faith. Exactly what is undefineable, even by myself.
I'm not baptised, I don't go to church, I haven't even memorized the bible. I don't do public prayers, I save my praying for really big problems. I have many pagan and neo-pagan friends....

Judge nixes evolution textbook stickers
Disclaimer questioning theory ruled unconstitutional
ATLANTA - A federal judge on Thursday ordered the removal of stickers placed in high school biology textbooks that call evolution “a theory, not a fact,” saying they were an unconstitutional endorsement of religion.
When did evolution become a proven and undisputed fact?
Am I so out of touch and unknowledgable?
The stickers read, “This textbook contains material on evolution. ...

I'm tired of all the people who
are on the TV, on the net, on the News
who preach and try to tell me exactly what to do
as if my eyes were closed, blind-folded,
and I hadn't a clue.
I can see through the politican's lies;
Tired of hearing the he-said crap I despise
I can see with both of my eyes
I pledge Allegiance
to the flag
of the United States of America
Not in republicrats for which you stand.
A question I propose to JU: Is it someone's right, no matter how much it clashes with your own personal belief system, to have their own set of values and live by them?
An odd question, to be sure..but an important one. Let's look at same sex marriages. Is it right for gay people to be gay? That *is* their right. No one should be able to beat them, kill them, harm them, harass them, force them to accept unlawly legislation that makes them heterosexual due to someone else being intolerant of the...
First of all, let us review a definition of common sense:
Common Sense: n; Sound judgment not based on specialized knowledge; native good judgment. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=Common%20Sense
Now, I just referenced a definition as to what "common sense" is. It's remarkable that I feel I am required to back up my claim as to what it is.
Doesn't the very nature of proving what common sense is against common sense? Yet in today's society, if you haven't the goods to back up your ...
